Tenth Knight of the Italian Republic, for poetry, and the only "Italian Poet Knight" present in the Treccani Encyclopedia, Institute of the Italian Encyclopedia, together with the Nobel Prize Giosuè Carducci in the history of Italian literature from 1861 to the present day.
Silvano Bortolazzi is the youngest poet to be awarded "Knight" for poetry in the history and the only in life, together with Nobel laureates Carducci, Montale, Quasimodo and others famous poets as: D'Annunzio, Ungaretti, Merini, Luzi, Sanguineti and Spaziani. Silvano Bortolazzi "Knight of Merit of the Italian Republic" (for poetry) was born in Genoa the November 13, 1975. Finalist (second place) and gold medal, for poetry, in the International Poetry Prize "Agenda dei poeti 2001", in Milan, section books published, at only 24 years old for his book "The Wolf" (Il lupo), Mauro Baroni publisher, Viareggio. Mauro Baroni publisher, writer and poet under the pen name of "Manuel Blas", honorary degree for literature, awarded by the University of Siena in 2002, today disappeared, was a great admirer of Bortolazzi. Bortolazzi appears on many literary anthologies of the major national and international competitions of poetry and on the international non-virtual paper anthology, "Poetic Prism" managed by the Government of India
Throughout his literary career he has got the opportunity to discuss in person with poets such as Edoardo Sanguineti (Librex Montale prize winner in 2006 - "THE LITTLE NOBEL") and Maria Luisa Spaziani (Viareggio Prize winner, same to a Nobel in Italy, and big friend of the Nobel laureate Eugenio Montale). Bortolazzi was selected by the jury of the Viareggio prize, University professors of literature, as one of the candidates for "Viareggio Prize for poetry" (the principal italian poetry prize), in the year 2013, getting to this compliments of the Governor of Liguria and also getting ads on many Tv news and radio news of Liguria and Tuscany. Bortolazzi in April 25, 2014 founded the "WORLD UNION OF POETS", world literary movement of poets and writers for peace and culture (991.387 poets members with several hundred delegates in all Italian provinces and in all world countries, including one of the former Vice-Presidents of the Republic of Venezuela, in 2000, currently Ambassador in the Italian Republic for the Republic of Venezuela). Bortolazzi has received two nominations in the year 2015 (by the government of Venezuela and by the Public Italian istitutions) to the Nobel Prize for Literature, one in the year 2016 (by the government of the Venezuela) and one in the year 2017 (by the Presidency of the High Council of the Public Universities of the Venezuela, 67 public universities of the Venezuela). On August 16, 2015, the Mayor of the olympic town of Sestriere Valter Marin, appointed Bortolazzi "Honorary Poet of the olympic city of Sestriere" (Institutional prize of the municipality of Sestriere) during the 1st Grand Prize of poetry of Sestriere designed by the poet himself.
Bortolazzi "is the founder of the "POETRYSCULPTURE" (the poetry engraved on the sculpture) and author of the poetry "Azzurreggio", title of the opera winner at the "5° Moscow portrait art Festival" (central building of the Moscow artist), year 2016 and also "WORLD ICON OF PEACE" (International award of the Nigeria). Decimo Cavaliere della Repubblica Italiana, per la poesia, e unico "Poeta italiano Cavaliere" presente nell'Enciclopedia Treccani, Istituto dell'Enciclopedia Italiana, assieme al Premio Nobel Giosuè Carducci nella storia della letteratura italiana dal 1861 ai giorni nostri. Silvano Bortolazzi è anche il poeta più giovane ad aver ottenuto il titolo di “Cavaliere al Merito della Repubblica Italiana (per la poesia)” nella storia, oltre ad essere l’unico ancora in vita, assieme ai premi Nobel Carducci, Montale, Quasimodo e ad altri famosi poeti come: D'Annunzio, Ungaretti, Merini, Luzi, Sanguineti e Spaziani. Silvano Bortolazzi "Cavaliere al Merito della Repubblica Italiana" (per la poesia) è nato a Genova il 13 novembre 1975. Finalista (secondo posto) e medaglia d'oro, nel Premio Internazionale di poesia "Agenda dei Poeti 2001" della città di Milano, sezione di libri editi, a soli 24 anni di età per il suo libro “Il lupo”, Mauro Baroni editore, Viareggio. Mauro Baroni editore, scrittore e poeta sotto lo pseudonimo di "Manuel Blas", laurea honoris causa per la letteratura rilasciata dall'Università di Siena nel 2002, oggi scomparso, era un grande ammiratore di Bortolazzi. Bortolazzi è citato sulle antologie letterarie dei più importanti concorsi nazionali ed internazionali di poesia, su alcune enciclopedie virtuali nel mondo e sull'antologia internazionale cartacea, non virtuale, "Poetic Prism" gestita dal governo dell'India. Il poeta nel corso della sua carriera letteraria ha avuto la possibilità di discutere, di persona, con i poeti: quali Edoardo Sanguineti (vincitore del premio Librex Montale 2006, "Il piccolo Nobel della letteratura") e Maria Luisa Spaziani (vincitrice del Premio Viareggio) e grande amica del premio Nobel Eugenio Montale. Bortolazzi ha ricevuto due candidature nel 2015 (da parte del governo del Venezuela e delle Istituzioni pubbliche italiane) per il premio Nobel per la letteratura, una nel 2016 (da parte del governo del Venezuela) ed una nel 2017 (dalla Presidenza del Consiglio Superiore della pubblica università del Venezuela, 67 università pubbliche del Venezuela). Il 16 agosto 2015, il Sindaco di Sestriere Valter Marin ha nominato Bortolazzi "Poeta Onorario della città olimpica di Sestriere" durante il 1 ° Gran Premio di poesia di Sestriere istituito dal poeta stesso.
